After the theme was decided, I knew exactly what I wanted for my favors. I was set on edible and chocolate. I have a cake and candy supply store that I frequent and they did not have the mold I wanted. I had no choice but to search the Internet in hopes of finding and Eiffel Tower sucker mold. I was in luck and I did find one. Here is the finished product. Everyone loved them and I still have two in my fridge! If you ever need a great online supply store, here you go www.sugarcraft.com
Remember when you were a kid and the highest honor was to have your stuff on display "on the fridge?" Well, I have a stainless steel fridge and I cannot stick anything on it so this is my substitute, here I will display many things I am proud of and my "to do" lists as well. Enjoy!

Wedding Favors
After the theme was decided, I knew exactly what I wanted for my favors. I was set on edible and chocolate. I have a cake and candy supply store that I frequent and they did not have the mold I wanted. I had no choice but to scower the internet in hopes of finding and Eiffle Tower sucker mold. I was in luck and I did find one. Here is the finished product;
Wedding Cake Toppers
When I was planning my wedding, there was debate over a "theme." I wanted a topper that was personal, not the typical bride and groom figurines. At the time there were not all the great choices there are now with the silver monograms etc. I decided to make my own. Above is a picture show casing my two designs. I found the Mickey and Minnie figurines at Disneyland and just added them to a plastic base I found at Michael's. I think I found the fan there as well. As for the Eiffel Tower, that was an ornament and I simply cut the string off and attached the roses and the blue tag. I added lace around the base and the red ribbon and then three little red roses under. We ultimately went with the "Paris" theme....here is a picture of our cake, it was homemade with a lot of love by my Mom. Yes it is leaning but it was July and very hot. It did end up "falling" before we had a chance to cut it. But it still tasted GREAT!
Welcome
I have seen so many people start their blogs and they have a theme so I decided to start my own as well. I will try to share with you my most creative ideas and show you my "ah ha" moments on a budget. I love being creative and planning parties and scowering the internet for ideas and ways to express myself at my parties. I hope you enjoy!
